Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen. ~ Brené Brown

***CURRENTLY CLOSED TO NEW REFERRALS***

When we are out of tune with ourselves or with others, it's not unusual to feel overwhelmed by strong emotions such as anger, fear, or sadness. You may experience anxiety, depression, or loneliness, along with confusion and an inability to concentrate or make decisions. Your difficulties may manifest themselves physically through sleep problems, changes in eating habits, lack of energy, and illness. You may experience a lack of motivation or hope, an inability to find meaning in life, or burn-out.

We always have a choice about how we respond to situations. Buddhist teacher Pema Chödrön says that we can let the circumstances of our lives harden us and make us increasingly resentful and afraid, or we can let them soften us and make us kinder. How do you want to live? What will you choose?

Within the context of a safe, supportive and confidential environment, I can provide you with a unique opportunity to gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. With a greater sense of self-awareness and self-compassion as well as enhanced skills to manage challenging emotions, you can find solutions to problems or acceptance of circumstances that cannot be changed, develop more satisfying relationships, and build hope for the future.

Thank you for visiting my website. I offer convenient virtual counselling & psychotherapy for adults throughout Ontario. Please, take a look around and contact me for further information.
