Sometimes the pressures of life become so overwhelming that it's easy to lose sight of our strengths and capabilities. My goal is to support you in the process of rediscovering these and to help you create a more fulfilling and purposeful life so that you can realize your own unique potential.
I commit to work with you with respect, mindfulness and compassion. I value the emotional memories that you hold and honour your inner wisdom and strength. My goal is to work with you to alleviate distress and build resilience. I will slow you down so that you can hear what you are saying to yourself, thus supporting integration of your mind, body and spirit.
We will work together to develop tools and the practical “know how” to meet the current challenges of your life with calmness and confidence. We will explore how past experiences are shaping your current responses and how you can "retrain" your brain to react differently. If you wish, we will work further to explore what it is that you really want for yourself and ways to proactively position yourself to realize your vision. I will support you and collaborate closely with you along the way.
My approach to therapy is integrative: I don’t have a “one size fits all” philosophy. I draw from a wide variety of treatment methods, based on our discussions about your goals. These might include, for example, approaches and techniques drawn from:
